Artist Statement
I am intrigued by the function of memory; how some memories are vivid while others are fleeting, how memory affects individual, familiar, and cultural identity. Personal memories provide the framework from which I can ask broader questions. I am inspired by sensory memory and intrigued with the relationship between visual memory and tactile perception."
